    Final Update here...EVER.
Well, I managed to COMPLETELY get my journal on my website working... in Internet Explorer and as far as I'm concerned, ALL other browsers...

    check it out here:

    http://blackenedsun.com/index.php?page=journal

and please, comment here to let me know if you got this message.

Also, you CAN do comments on my journal on my website. You just need to be anonymous (or put your name through another option), or if you really care about blogger, you can register there and have an account, but it really doesn't matter.

I like it when people comment...

Ok, I couldn't stay away for long... but I don't even know who visits this now that I don't even post anymore (and have notified everyone of this).

After a lot of working out the bugs, my journal is NOW completely integrated into my website (for the most part, I guess). There are still bugs to kill to make everything run smoothly, but it's all set for the most part.

There is one small (well, MAJOR, but not to me) problem with the journal being integrated like I did it: it doesn't work well at ALL in both cases of Internet Explorer that I tried out, as well as a third case that I asked a friend to try out for me. Internet Explorer hates what I did for some unknown reason.

Firefox and Opera handle the website perfectly, and you can view my journal EASILY and amazingly directly on my website if you use either of those programs.

Internet Explorer, on the other hand, stretches out the browser horizontally for like atleast 5 digital miles, and it's like impossible to see the post beyond the side scroll. Until I figure out how to heal this problem, there are two different ways to view my journal:

The awesome cool looking way, directly through my website (viewable ONLY if you use something OTHER than Firefox): http://blackenedsun.com/index.php?page=journal

Or you can view it directly through the "pure" version of the journal before implementation, which is available here: http://www.blackenedsun.com/journal/

Even then, because I have changed code around, you can ONLY view the latest entries, as the archives will instantly take you into implemented pages, which won't work.

    Wow... long post.

But yea, that's the case. New journal. take it or leave it :)

There are still comments on my new journal (I decided to keep comments). You can comment on them anonymously unless you register for an account on blogger.com :)

Well, I think this is the end.
I'm realizing more and more that I have little to no motivation to update this journal anymore. Therefore, as of today, I am done posting on it. I'm going to backup all my previous entries on my computer, and this thing will remain where it is, but the fad has died out.

I'll still visit people's journals, I will just not be updating mine... unless enough of you fight to keep me updating it, haha. I'm still on AIM all the time... so it's not like half of you don't know everything I'm going to type in here before I type it anyways...

There's no hidden reason for ending it beyond this lack of motivation or urge to maintain it. Maybe this will be recreated sometime soon, but on my website. I want some way to implement this on my website, but livejournal will only give you a decent way to do it by paying for it. Perhaps I'll create my own engine for it (ha!), but until then, this is my last post here.

Keep yourself updated by visiting my website. I'll still update that when I get the chance and need...

    Just updating
well, that quiz I took earlier...apparently I remember taking it before, although I don't remember the results, nor where it is in my journal, haha, but I remember posting one before. I wonder how my results were back then.

Well, I broke the silence today, that i enforced on her over a month and a half ago. I actually don't know how she is anymore, except for what I've read on her journal, but I hope she's made improvements since the last time we talked.

the thanksgiving day game at Crocker Field was fun... it SNOWED the entire time. awesome. Shame we lost 20-6... oh well.

Well, Thanksgiving break was busy. There were a LOT of girls at the wedding, but they were all over the drinking age, and probably around Mike and Alexandra's age (23?) anyways... Oh, and I had to leave the wedding at like 9:45, got home around 11:30, and PROMPTLY went to bed, as I had to be at work for 7 the next morning. I worked 10 hours...god that sucked...haha... but I made a lot of SPH (Sales Per Hour). Then I got back home, went out to hang out with Jon and Shea at Torgie's grandparent's house (they were playing poker), while I waited for Brittany because I sort of made plans to hang out with her.

Well, the plans feel through (she wasn't in the greatest mood), so I hung out with Jon and them, and then went home to talk to Brittany to find out what was up. She's doing better now, atleast :o)

Sunday I worked, didn't get out until 5:30... We even stopped taking in work at 1 o'clock, yet the work still took past that time... We had a 4 hour wait, MINIMUM, from like 10 am on, yet people STILL wanted to come in to get work done. After that long day I went home, picked up my laundry, went to visit Sarah at Circuit City on my way back to school, and then spent the rest of the night in the security of my dorm... oogling the 360 that Devon brought here...

Monday I played the 360 quite a bit, haha...as I did Sunday as well...Goddamn Call of Duty is fun, and I haven't even touched the multiplayer yet. Perfect Dark Zero's single player sucks, imo... I don't know how the multiplayer really is yet, but from what I tried, it's not that great either...

I've been feeling better lately....it was nice to hang out with my friends a lot as of late... made me feel better.

    Changes...
    God so much is changing....

So much has been changing in the last 3 years of my life, and things are defintely NOT slowing down...

So, Nate is gone...over in Japan for the next two years.... Seth is leaving tomorrow to go to Parris Island and join the Marines too....Jon and Ethan both already have full time jobs...even though Jon remains the same and unable to stay with one job...haha...

I'm usually someone who supports change, because it's been for the better (for me)...but this doesn't feel like for the better anymore........

I still think I made all the right decisions in MY life...but my friends are still making their own decisions to improve their life... and it's just weird...but I know it's life...

I don't know where I was going with this

I gave blood today... have you? I thought not.... lol...

It went really fast surprisingly... I don't think I ever gave a quart (or watever amount it is) of blood that fast before... she said I did it in like 6 seconds... sometimes it takes like 20 just to get it all out of me... lol

Oh, fixed Katie's computer today... had to spend something like a total of 4 freaking hours on it to find out the problem (which I couldn't solve) and to just give her a clean reboot of Windows... *sigh*

    Averi
Well, I ended up going to the concert with Katelyn, and I had an awesome time...

We made it to Kenmore Square, and as soon as we got off the subway, I was a tad lost (I didn't know where to go suddenly as I didn't know where that one street was where Avalon is) And Katelyn and I decided to follow these two girls who looked like they were going to the concert too... As we were walking, suddenly the girls turned around and asked us if we knew where Avalon was....lol, Katelyn went flat out and said "We were following you"... I was like gee thanks, way to make it look like we were stalkers! But yea, we made it to the Avalon, and had a great time... The second band SUCKED...but the first one was good, and I bought their CD (as I have both of Averi's anyways).

After Averi said goodnight, they came back out, and Chad (lead singer) grabbed his acoustic, and Mike (sax/keyboard) jumped out with his alto sax, and they just played softly while only the AUDIENCE sang the entire "The Bones Underneath" song... Awesome!

Averi just could NOT stop commenting how they were playing at the AVALON... lol... it was awesome.

    Child's Play Charity
Donate this Christmas! I am donating this year... Just need my paycheck... so Friday it is!

This charity started off just for a single hospital in Seattle, for Penny Arcade to prove that gamers are not bad people, like the massive media says they are. Well, in 2 years alone, they raised over 500k to not only the seattle children's hopsital, but to children's hospitals across the united states...

This year, they're expanding even more, with childrens hopitals spread out 10 fold in the United States, and Canada (and I believe the UK), and they only started up the Charity again for this Christmas as of Monday, and they've already raised 65 THOUSAND DOLLARS... and it's only been a week!!!!!

    It's amazing... Gamers bad?? HAH!

If you're a gamer...Donate this christmas...... it's for a good cause and it proves the media wrong again and again...

    Last night was just...great...

Apparently someone last night thought it would be "cool" if you put alcohol on the carpet on the 6th floor lounge, and light it on fire. I shit you not. And because of this, I was outside because of a goddamned fire alarm from 2:30 - 3:30 last night...in the freezing night...... thankfully after about 30 minutes of waiting, they let us go to the student center to stay warm...so that was a plus...sort of.

Apparently it was also "cool" to do other malicious things last night too, as the school has enforced a new no guests allowed policy until further notice....

    Anyways...

I worked on my website more..... The Life page is up and running completely now. I'm still going to be working on the Site section...and the Work section is a loong way away. One step at a time :o)

Well, apparently my friend Nate has just made it to Japan and to the military base there in Okinawa. It's so strange to have a friend that's all the way over there right now.

He just flew a total of 15 hours........ From Manchester, to Cincinnati, to Seattle, to Tokota, to Okinawa. Jeez.

    Audioslave Concert!
Well, Monday was a lot of fun: Let's recap

Well, before the concert, Guild Wars was having a halloween event, in which "Mad King Thorne" visted and made you play "Mad King Says", which of course is equivalent to Simon Says. It was a lot of fun. Guild Wars is good at holding events like that.

Well, after that little event, I drove home to pick up Shea and we went to Wendy's for dinner. After that, off we went to Lowell. It was really easy to get to Tsonga's Arena, and we waited in line for about 30 minutes until they opened the doors. I bought a shirt, and Shea bought both opening band CD's.

We sat up in the seats until Audioslave played.

30 Seconds to Mars was a good band. I liked how the guy sang, his voice was good. We loved the CD, too (listened to it in the car on the way home)

Seether was good of course. I just popped in their "Disclaimer" CD since I just noticed I had it (I burned it off someone at one point, haha). Seether's bassist ran up on stage wearing a pimp outfit... their guitarist was wearing a cheerleading outfit, and the singer was wearing this "fat slut" outfit. Before their last song he said "let's hear some noise" and lowered the "halter top" from the fake boobs. It was hilarious watching him up on stage.

While Seether was playing, I text messaged Lauren to see where she was there, but I didn't get a response. And then Seether ended so Shea and I went down to the main area (as our original intention) to watch Audioslave right there in the middle of the bulk of the crowd. While we were down there Shea told me to check my messages, and I didn't see any new messages, and then I looked RIGHT behind him, and there was Lauren and Geoff. Like DIRECTLY behind us. So we hung around them while Audioslave played

Audioslave was AMAZING, of course. They played a lot of Soundgarden and Rage Against the Machine songs, as well of course as a large amount of their own songs. Towards the end Chris Cornell did some acoustics of Soundgarden and Audioslave songs, including I Am The Highway (omg I was into that song), and then towards the end of I am the Highway, the rest of the band joined in, and we rocked on for another half hour after that until the show actually ended. AMAZING!

    oh why not

    I am Strength

Strength represents patience and compassion. Getting angry is easy when events turn sour, but dealing calmly with frustration takes great strength. So does accepting others and forgiving mistakes. We need strength to mold situations softly. The Chariot controls through mastery and authority. Card 8 is more subtle, even loving. Notice how the lion (itself a symbol of strength) is being guided and tamed by the woman's gentle hands.
